West Whiteland Police say he tried to use ID from stolen wallet to get funds

wwpd patchOn March 27, officers from the West Whiteland Township Department responded to the PNC Bank in the 300 block of North Pottstown Pike for a possible fraud complaint, police said. Upon arrival, officers were advised that a subject, later identified as Daniel Judge, 23, of Chester Springs, had attempted to use another person’s identification to make a $315 withdrawal from that person’s bank account, police said. An officer was able to make contact with the victim, who stated that his wallet had been stolen at the Lionville YMCA in Uwchlan Township, police said, adding that Judge was charged with forgery, Identity theft and theft offenses.

West Whiteland officers responded to a report of a disorderly subject in a parking lot in the 300 block of East Lincoln Highway on March 28, police said. The subject had reportedly damaged another vehicle and was yelling at random people in the area, police said. Officers made contact with Peter Duca III, 23, of Kinzers, who was highly agitated and would not comply with the officer’s instructions, police said. Duca was charged with resisting arrest, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, police said.

On March 29, West Whiteland officers investigating a reported assault at the AT&T Wireless store at the Exton Square Mall determined that Jason Lebron, 35, of West Chester, had intentionally struck a 16-year-old male who was in the store, police said. Lebron was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.
