WEST CHESTER — The Chester County Recorder of Deeds announced Monday new public online access to search for recorded documents dating back to the County’s founding.

For the first time, land documents, including recorded deeds and mortgages, ranging from 1994 back to the 1600s are available for public access digitally.

Recorder of Deeds Chris Pielli, Esq., partnered with records management company Info Quick Solutions, Inc. (IQS) to make these images available online. The documents were scanned for historical preservation as part of a previous project.

“This was one of our big initiatives since I was elected as the new Recorder of Deeds. We are very pleased to now offer this great benefit to the public, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Pielli. “The website provides instant access to the records available in the Recorder’s office.”

The public can search and view all images for free and the images can be printed or downloaded for $0.50 per page.

You can access the records at https://searchiqs.com/pachs/.
