U.S. 322 set for bank stabilization, says PennDOT

Lane closures in West Bradford Twp. will occur Monday through Wednesday

IMG_0487The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced the following roadwork in the Coatesville and Downingtown areas this week – weather permitting – so that motorists can anticipate potential travel delays.

Utility installation will require lane restrictions between Walnut and Stirling Streets on South Eighth Avenue in Coatesville on Tuesday, April 22, and Wednesday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

U.S. 322 in West Bradford Township is scheduled for bank stabilization from Monday, April 21, through Wednesday, April 23. Lane closures will occur between Sugars Bridge and Shadyside Roads from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The U.S. 30 Bypass in Caln, West Pikeland, and Valley Townships will require lane closures from Monday, April 21, through Thursday, April 24, for tree removal. The work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Rt. 82 and Rt. 100.

The U.S. 30 Bypass in Caln and Valley Townships will be the site of shoulder repair from Monday, April 21, through Thursday, April 24. Lane closures will be needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Rt. 340 and Airport Road.

Bridge replacement will continue on U.S. 322 in East Caln and West Bradford Townships. Lane restrictions will be in effect between Old Trolley and Romig Roads from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Aug. 14.

Whitford Road in West Whiteland Township will be closed and detoured between Clover Mill and Burke Roads Mondays through Saturdays through June 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for overhead bridge repair. A detour will be posted.
