To The Editor, Downingtown, Chester County and country lost a leader during the Labor Day weekend when Michael Yaworski died at the age of 92. He was one of the few remaining veterans of the U. S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Yaworski served on the USS Arctic, which was a refrigeration supply ship assigned to the Pacific Theater fleet.
