Lewis to hold job fair, Oct. 13

jobfairRep. Harry Lewis Jr. (R-74) invites 74th District residents to attend his job fair on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 2-6 p.m. at the Coatesville Area Senior Center, 250 Harmony St., Coatesville. 

“Last year’s job fair attracted hundreds of Chester County residents who were searching for new jobs. Many of those men and women transitioned into new positions as a result of the fair, so I look forward to providing that opportunity again,” Lewis said. “I encourage everyone who is considering a new job to join the dozens of businesses that represent a variety of industries.” 

First-time job seekers, entry-level or skilled professionals are welcome to attend the job fair to interact with local employers. Attendees should come prepared and dressed to interview onsite. They should also bring plenty of resume copies to share.

Local employers that will be present at the job fair include Adelfi Promotions, BAYADA Home Health Care, Brandywine YMCA, Chester County Career Link, County of Chester, Chester County OIC, Chester County Sheriff’s Department, Citadel Federal Credit Union, Coatesville Area School District, Coatesville Savings Bank, Comcast, County of Chester, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (Southeastern Veterans Center), Farmers Insurance (Denise James Agency), Harrison House of Chester County, Insight Workforce Solutions LLC, Keystone Human Services, Krapf Bus Companies, Neurocognitive Specialist/Staff Support Main Line Rehabilitation, Pampered Chef, PECO, Pennsylvania State Police, SEPTA, Sam’s Club 6558, Simpson Meadows, State Farm Insurance, Substitute Teacher Service, United States Air Force and WaWa.

The fair will also offer professional headshots for all job fair attendees at no charge.
