EXTON — The Smart Energy Initiative of Southeast Pennsylvania hosted a breakfast last week to discuss the state of renewable energy in the immediate region.
There was a panel discussion with Hayley Book, Deputy Policy Director, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Abby Watson, Government Affairs and Commnunications Manager, Gamesa & Women in Wind Energy and Lisa Jacobson, President, The Business Council for Sustainable Energy.
The discussions included an overview of solar and wind projects in the state, how the regional energy sector can help achieve Pennsylvania climate goals, current trends and innovations in renewable energy and wind investment trends.
