FRAZER – Wings for Success, which offers work-appropriate attire, advice and advocacy to women in need who are seeking employment, will hold its third Spring Fashion Show, Expo and Auction on Saturday, April 2, in partnership with the Fashion Merchandising Department of Immaculata University.
“Wings for Success helps women in need to fashion new lives by providing the clothing and counsel that gives them the confidence to ‘strut their stuff’ in the workplace,” says Wings Executive Director Robyn Slater. “Our Spring Fashion Show will celebrate the connection between looking good and doing well. All who join us for this fun program will learn how to put their own best foot forward while supporting the work of Wings for Success.”
Event Emcee Gannon adds: “As an on-air personality and media host, I understand the importance of making a great impression. I’ve been greatly impressed by the work that Wings for Success does to help women gain the confidence to move forward on their journey to economic self sufficiency. Therefore, I’m proud to lend my name and presence to the Wings for Success Spring Fashion show.”
A $50 advance registration admission ticket will entitle attendees to:
- Watch a fashion show featuring the newest looks from local boutiques and designers, as well as Immaculata student designers.
- Cheer on teams of Wings for Success clients and volunteers in a catwalk competition as they vie to create the best look.
- Enjoy a fabulous selection of sweet and savory brunch treats and mimosas, and browse vendor tables offering fashion and beauty products and services.

“The Immaculata University Fashion Merchandising Department is delighted to partner once again with Wings for Success to put on this event,” says Chris Baeza, Immaculata University Fashion Merchandising program director and moderator for one of the workshops. “Wings for Success is the perfect partner for our Fashion Merchandising program because of our shared focus on fashion with a purpose. The affiliation with Wings gives our students a real-life demonstration of the transformative difference that style and fashion can make in how women feel about and present themselves.”
About the Immaculata University Fashion Merchandising Program
The Fashion Merchandising program incorporates core values and business dynamics to support the rising trend of “fashion with a conscience.” The program provides students with a background in fashion, business and liberal arts, and provides many hands-on learning experiences. In honoring the University’s mission, core values, and a belief that fashion should make a positive impact on the world, Wings for Success and Immaculata University’s Fashion Merchandising students have partnered to co-create their annual fashion event.
