At the YMCA of Greater Brandywine, we are committed to helping all community members get healthy and discover the joy of living in optimal health and wellness. We give community members the tools and support they need to not just start a healthy living program, but to stick with it long term.

On Wednesday, November 11, all YMCA of Greater Brandywine branches will feature a diabetes-focused Wellness Wednesday with community partners joining the Y to teach community members vital facts about diabetes. Professionals from West Chester University, Chester County Hospital, Jennersville Hospital, dietitians, and others will be in the lobbies to help you learn more about diabetes and how to prevent it. There will also be the opportunity for body fat and BMI testing along with activities and games for visitors to enjoy.

The Y isn’t just a gym; we are a supportive community offering many ways to get fit and healthy, volunteer and find camaraderie with like-minded people. Our branches provide not only 100s of exercise classes, pools and swim lessons, youth and adult sports, gyms and tracks; we are a community with family -friendly fitness classes and fun, enriching activities for all ages from children to seniors.
