WEST WHITELAND — A Coatesville woman has been charged with having a sexual affair with a minor at the private school where she taught, township police said Tuesday.
Township Police charged Sarah O’Neill, 35, with four counts of Corruption on Minors.
Police said that the charges stem from an investigation into allegations of O’Neill having an inappropriate relationship with a student at Church Farm School where she was employed as a teacher. Police said that after an investigation it was determined that the relationship began in January 2014 when the student was 16 years of age and O’Neill was his teacher.
During the course of the 10-month relationship, O’Neill is alleged to have been romantically involved with the student. The incidents allegedly occurred on four occasions in O’Neill’s vehicle and at area hotels.
The preliminary hearing for O’Neill is scheduled for Monday, February 2, 2015.
