WEST CHESTER —Jonathan Schuck of Malvern has been appointed the new director of Chester County’s Real Estate Assessment and Tax Claim department by the Chester County Commissioners.
Schuck, an assistant director of the department, has been serving as interim director following the retirement of Jeff Laudenslager earlier this year.
He has been working in the department since 2009, during which time he also managed Chester County’s Tax Claim Office. Chester County’s Real Estate Assessment and Tax Claim department has 35 professionals and administers the county’s real estate assessment and tax claim functions encompassing more than 190,000 tax parcels valued at $40.5 billion.
Schuck is a graduate of Penn State University and has an MBA degree from Widener University.
