Chester County Fund for Women and Girls salutes Sennett

WEST CHESTER — The Chester County Fund for Women and Girls is is offering congratulations to Catherine Sennett, Esq., as one of a select group of women chosen to receive the 2014 Women of Distinction Award by the Philadelphia Business Journal. The Women of Distinction Award recognizes leading women in the region who positively impact their community through their professional and personal accomplishments.

Sennett has demonstrated her strong work ethic through her work at Jackson Cross Partners, where she manages 10 attorneys and real estate professionals and 30 attorney contractors as a Partner and the Director of Advisory Sciences. 

Her commitment to non-profits was proven throughout her term as volunteer Board Chair and Director of the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls from 2008 – 2014. During her time as Board Chair over $1.7 million in contributions alone were raised. This money has gone toward improving the lives of women and girls in Chester County through unique programs designed to address the issues faced by many in the county.

The organization thrived with Cate at the forefront, building relationships and strengthening our mission to provide essential tools and opportunities so women and girls in Chester County truly can have better lives. Cate continues to play an active leadership role with the Fund, serving on the Executive Committee and Governance Committee.

“Her professionalism and integrity define who she is as a person at all times,” said Susan Mostek, the Executive Director of the Fund. Cate’s extensive work with other community organizations includes serving as Secretary of the Board of Pathways, PA, and as a Board Member of the Interfaith Housing Assistance Corporation of Chester County.
