David Mark Evans, 42, of Downingtown, PA., passed into eternal life on January 23, 2021. David was born in Sellersville, PA., and lived in the area most of his life. Dave attended Montgomery County Community College, the University of New Mexico and West Chester University studying archeology. While in college he developed a love for photography. He worked for Bowstring Studios, a media production company, doing product branding and sports photography which included photographing sporting events for Villanova University. This passion led him to start his own photography company, Six Visuals, allowing him to venture into experimenting with macro photography, weddings, photo shoots and video editing.
Dave currently worked for Piazza Hyundai of Pottstown. He attended Gateway Church of Parkesburg, and had recently joined the Launch Team of CityWell Church to establish a new church in Coatesville.
Like his father, he was an avid reader and had a delightfully expansive vocabulary. He developed a storehouse of random facts and knowledge, which most people would not know, that spiced up every conversation. Dave talked to everyone as a friend and genuinely enjoyed learning about every one he met. He also loved woodworking, watching movies and cooking, especially for his family.
Dave cherished his wife and loved being a dad, valuing the relationships he had with his children. He was predeceased by his father Mark David Evans in January, 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Evans; children, Kalee Meeder, Sutton Evans, Aubree Evans, and Gavin Evans; his mother, Brenda Carlton her husband Dr. Robert Carlton of Barto, PA; his step mother Dolores Evans of Alburtis, PA; his sister, Megan Ryan and her husband Neil of Macungie, PA and their 3 daughters; and his step-siblings Czarli, Danielle, Joanna, Kristina, Robin & Thomas; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the Gateway Church, 160 Cowan Road, Parkesburg, PA, 19365 from 1-3pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:00pm and will be live streamed for those who cannot attend. Access the service at live.gtwy.church or through Kedz Funeral Home Facebook page.
