COATESVILLE — La Comunidad Hispana (LCH) partnered with Black Women of Chester County in Action (BWCCA) at the latter’s first Aya Café and Wellness Fair on June 29, held at the Chester County OIC in Coatesville.  This event included health information, blood pressure and other vital signs checks from LCH volunteer nurses, breakfast, lunch, and a one-mile community walk.  The purpose of the event is to educate attendees on the particular health challenges black women face, and how they can best take care of themselves and each other.

Groups interested in learning more about how to partner with LCH to bring wellness checks to their community group, employer, or school can contact LeeAnn Riloff, LCH Director of Development, at lriloff@lchps.org or (610) 444-7550 X220.
