West Whiteland Township Police hope someone can identify the theft suspect in this surveillance photo.

The West Whiteland Township Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred at the 7-11 store in Exton at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, and it is seeking the public’s help to identify one of the suspects.

Police gave this account: Two males entered the store, and one grabbed several baseball hats off of the shelf and exited the store. The store employee followed the male out of the store and observed him getting into the passenger side of a green vehicle that was being operated by the second male.

The employee walked toward the car and advised the subjects to return the stolen merchandise, which prompted the driver to accelerate in the direction of the employee, who had to take evasive action to avoid being struck. The vehicle then fled the area, police said.
