April 16 session is first ‘on the road’ meeting for 2014
WEST CHESTER – The first Chester County Commissioners’ “on the road” public meeting for 2014 will take take place in Parkesburg, on Wednesday, April 16, at 7 p.m. in Parkesburg Borough Hall, 315 W. First Ave., Building 1.
The meeting will replace the commissioners’ meeting scheduled for Wednesday morning, April 16,, a county news release said. In addition to discussing and approving county government business, the commissioners will recognize local organizations and citizens who are making contributions to Chester County.
Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting, which will also be videotaped and posted on Chester County’s website: www.chesco.org. The meeting is the first in a series that are being held in 2014 at different locations throughout the county during the evening so that more citizens can attend. Several “on the road” meetings were held in 2013.
