State police probing West Bradford burglary

Victim says power tool chargers, batteries, and miter saw stolen from garage

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERATroopers from the Embreeville barracks said they are investigating a burglary that occurred in the 1200 block of Romansville Road in West Bradford Township on Friday, March 28, between 11:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. The victim told police that a miter saw and three power drill batteries (with chargers) were taken from his garage. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 610-486-6280.

An 18-year-old Downingtown driver was cited for failure to yield after stopping on Glenside Road approaching the intersection of Marshallton-Thorndale Road in West Bradford Township and hitting another vehicle, state police from the Embreeville barracks said. Police said Shawn P. Leblanc was traveling east on Thursday, March 27, at 7:08 a.m., in a 2008 Nissan Altima 3 when he struck a 2012 Toyota Rav 4. Police said no injuries were reported, but both vehicles had to be towed.

A 71-year-old East Fallowfield man was cited after he failed to negotiate a turn on West Chester Road, just west of Embreeville Road, on Monday, March 24, at 1:56 p.m. in West Bradford Township, said state police from the Embreeville barracks. John H. Lamb, who was not injured, veered into the oncoming lane in a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee before continuing off the roadway and impacting a utility pole, police said. The Jeep was towed from the scene, police said.
