The numbers tell the story. Rovito received 44% of the vote putting her far ahead of the pack in an extremely competitive five-way Democratic primary.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u201cAlita\u2019s background in family court resonated with voters,\u201d said Charlotte Valyo, Alita Rovito\u2019s campaign chair. \u201cChester County families want someone on the bench who is fighting for them. Someone who wants to protect our community, keeping it safe for our children.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Democratic voters clearly responded to Rovito as the endorsed candidate, and the only candidate with 15 years of proven judicial experience. Republicans also showed strong support for Rovito. Judicial candidates can appear on both the Democratic and the Republican ballots. When adding her total votes from both ballots, Alita Rovito received an impressive 42,903 votes, which is 4,704 more votes than her closest challenger, putting her in a strong position for November.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\u201cI loved every minute of primary day,\u201d explains Rovito. \u201cIt was wonderful to be out in beautiful Chester County meeting voters.
