The teens, who were observed on video surveillance, were cited for retail theft and purchasing alcohol by a minor after they were identified, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Downingtown Police cited an Exton woman for retail theft at the same Wegman\u2019s on March 18, police said.\u00a0 Elizabeth Anne Ziegenfus, 26, left the store around 5 p.m. with stolen merchandise totaling $18.17, police said.\u00a0 She was followed by Wegman\u2019s loss prevention officer into the parking lot, throwing the items as she left the parking lot, police said. Video surveillance helped officers track the vehicle and identify Ziegenfus, who was charged with retail theft, police said.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Police said they are investigating a March 21 report involving a vehicle parked in the area of the 100 block of Washington Avenue that had the rear window broken, possibly by a BB.\u00a0 Damage to the windshield, which was shattered but remained in place, was estimated at $250, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Steven Paul Jacob Dehaan, 28, of Hawley, was observed staggering back and forth on the sidewalk in the 100 block of West Lancaster Avenue at 1:40 a.m. on March 23, police said.\u00a0 When approached by the officer, Dehaan spoke with slurred speech and had red glassy eyes; he was taken into custody and charged with public drunkenness, police said.<\/p>\n<p>George Parke Shaub, 18, of Gap, was pulled over for heavily tinted windows shortly after 1 p.m. on March 23 in the 800 block of West Lancaster Avenue, police said.\u00a0 During the traffic stop, police said they determined that Shaub not only was driving without a license, but also was wanted on a criminal warrant by West Sadsbury Township Police.<\/p>\n<p>Farren Maureen Sweeney, 25, of Coatesville, was charged with retail theft at the Wegman\u2019s supermarket in East Caln Township on March 23 at 4:30 p.m., Downingtown Police said.
