Photo credit: Greg Zeller Photography.<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">WEST CHESTER<i><\/i><strong><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/strong>\u2013 United Way of Chester County kicked off the 2016 campaign with their fourth annual Live United in Music concert, featuring twin sisters Kimberley and Tamara Pinegar, and their famous dueling pianos show from Harrah\u2019s Las Vegas.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The twins played a diverse repertoire from Billy Joel to Motley Crew, including live requests from the audience, helping to raise spirits and funds for United Way\u2019s Financial Stability Center.\u00a0 Over 220 guests including corporate sponsors, volunteers, and donors gathered at Penn Oaks Golf Club and collectively helped contribute over $57,000 to the cause. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The group effort included Citadel, returning as event Presenting Sponsor for the fourth consecutive year, and Penn Oaks Golf Club recommitting as Host Sponsor, donating the five star meal and hospitality.\u00a0 CCRES, Brumbaugh Wealth Management and CertainTeed shared lead sponsorship for the event along with an impressive list of additional corporate and in-kind contributors demonstrating Chester County\u2019s commitment to the community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">United Way of Chester County Board Chair, Charlie Kochka, said, \u201cIt was great to see our community having fun while supporting the important work of the United Way of Chester County.\u00a0 Tonight\u2019s generosity ensures United Way\u2019s Financial Stability Center can continue to help neighbors regain strong financial footing and get their lives back.\u201d Proceeds from Live United in Music benefit the United Way of Chester County Financial Stability Center (FSC) which provides key resources to help local residents improve their financial situation and move toward self-sufficiency and independence. United Way\u2019s Financial Stability Center (FSC) offers over 15 social services in coordination with PA CareerLink\u00ae-Chester County and its partners all under one roof with access to a navigator coach to customize a plan for achieving set goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The evening began with a cocktail hour where an interactive ice sculpture was a literal ice breaker as guests were encouraged to chisel their name into the wall.\u00a0 A sit down dinner followed in the grand ballroom where Penn Oaks did not disappoint with five star food, service, and hospitality. Dessert shared the spotlight with chocolate baby grand pianos filled with mousse.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Special guest\u00a0 Joe Tankle, VP of Business Development for Meridian Bank, entertained the crowd with a live auction during dinner, and helped raise additional funds for the cause. The night culminated with a 45 minute dueling piano performance where sibling rivalry was at its best, dividing the room and fans into cheering for the star performer.\u00a0 There was a unified spirit however in coming together for the good of a cause and its community. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Citadel\u00a0 Senior Vice President, Michael Schnably, added, \u201cWe\u2019re fortunate to have the kind of community who understands that together we can lift all our Chester County residents and make it home for every one.
